We pride ourselves on supplying high-quality, freshly baked goods to top hotels, bars, and restaurants across Scotland’s central belt. We are currently looking for a reliable, proactive person to join our early morning team.
The Role This early-morning position is perfect for early risers, those looking to supplement another income, or anyone seeking a structured part-time schedule that leaves the rest of the day free. You will be responsible for preparing customer orders in the bakery before heading out in a company vehicle to complete morning deliveries across the local area.
Hours & Schedule
- Shifts: 3 shifts per week (Monday to Sunday availability required).
- Hours: 22.5 hours per week.
- Schedule: Early morning starts between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM.
- Overtime: Potential for further shifts to cover team holidays.
Main Responsibilities
- Consolidating, checking, and packing fresh customer orders.
- Loading the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Delivering orders accurately and on time to our wholesale customers.
- Communicating professionally with both customers and bakery colleagues.
- Maintaining high standards of service and representing The Breadwinner Bakery positively on the road.
What We Are Looking For
- Licence: A full, valid driving licence (a company van is provided for all shifts).
- Reliability: Exceptional punctuality and dependability for early morning starts.
- Independence: The ability to work proactively, both independently on the road and as a helpful team member during the packing phase.
- Attitude: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high customer service standards.
- Experience: Previous experience in delivery driving, dispatch, or food production is helpful, but absolutely not essential.
