Maintenance Technician
Are you a hands-on Maintenance Technician looking for a varied role where no two days are the same?
AmegA Sciences, part of the global ICL Group, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support the safe and reliable operation of our production facilities and site infrastructure at Daventry and Lawford Heath.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing manufacturing business where you will play a key role in maintaining production equipment, improving facilities, and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.
What You Will Be Doing
Working as part of a small, collaborative maintenance team, you will:
Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on production and site equipment
Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault finding and repairs
Maintain pumps, motors, pipework, compressed air systems, mixing vessels and filling equipment
Complete basic electrical maintenance work within your competency
Support site improvement and capital projects
Liaise with external contractors and ensure work is completed safely
Carry out routine inspections and maintain maintenance records
Help create a safe, compliant and efficient working environment
What We Are Looking For
We would like to hear from candidates with experience in:
Mechanical maintenance within manufacturing, production, industrial or process environments
Pumps, motors, pneumatics, conveyors, pipework or processing equipment
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Fault finding and problem solving
Health and safety best practice
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
Basic electrical maintenance skills
Fabrication or welding experience
FLT, IPAF or MEWP licences
