We’re looking for a City Manager to join our Yorkshire team based out of our Leeds office. This is a hybrid role, combining 2–3 days in the field with office and home working. You’ll be joining the Regional Growth team. We are responsible for the commercial output of our mid-market restaurant partners across the UK and Ireland, ensuring we bring the best selection to our customers while accelerating growth for our partners.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Act as the local market expert: Represent Deliveroo across North East & Yorkshire by maintaining deep knowledge of the local restaurant landscape, industry trends, and neighborhood dynamics.
Drive partner account management: Lead commercial negotiations and account strategy for top local partners, optimising their operational efficiency and growth on the platform.
Leverage data to optimize selection: Analyse partner performance and area-level data to identify key coverage gaps and improve our customer offering neighbourhood by neighbourhood.
Expand local partner selection: Prospect, negotiate, and onboard top local favourite restaurants and hero brands, ensuring seamless setups for long-term success.
Execute local growth strategies: Partner with Regional Managers, Operations, and Account Management teams to build strategic regional plans and maximize restaurant participation in marketing campaigns.
Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:
Proven commercial experience: Demonstrated track record in account management, sales, or business strategy within a fast-paced environment.
Analytical approach: Strong ability to use and interpret performance data to identify operational gaps, inform decision-making, and drive growth.
Results-driven mindset: Highly motivated and target-oriented, with a focus on achieving demanding commercial KPIs.
Strategic relationship management: Skilled at building long-term partner relationships, leading commercial negotiations, and influencing stakeholders.
Mobility and flexibility: Possession of a valid UK driver's licence and car, with the flexibility to spend 2–3 days per week conducting field visits across the territory.
