At Terberg DTS, we're looking for a Technical Trainer to play a key role in developing our engineering workforce. You'll design and deliver high-quality training programmes, support engineers through their learning journeys, and help ensure they achieve both internal and external qualifications, including IRTEC certifications.

- Delivering engaging technical training to engineers at every stage of their career journey.
- Supporting engineer onboarding, refresher training, and ongoing development programmes.
- Developing and maintaining training materials that are accurate, practical, and up to date.
- Managing and supporting engineer accreditation and assessment processes, including IRTEC qualifications.
- Creating structured learning pathways and training schedules for new starters during their first 12 months.
- Working with subject matter experts to continuously improve training content and learning programmes.
- Delivering technical training to non-technical employees to improve cross-functional understanding.
- Providing training for customers at our Elland site and customer locations when required.
- Maintaining training records, registers, and associated administration.
- Promoting a culture of continuous learning, development, and technical excellence.
- A recognised training qualification, such as the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET/PTLLS).
- Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Experience creating engaging training content and learning materials.
- The ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and confidently.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- A proactive approach to learning, development, and continuous improvement.
- Confidence engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience delivering technical training within the automotive, engineering, or heavy vehicle sector.
- Knowledge of engineering learning pathways and competency frameworks.
- Experience supporting professional accreditations, including IRTEC qualifications.
- Understanding of instructional design, process mapping, and adult learning principles.
