Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Production Team Leader to join our Production team at our Ammanford headquarters.
Hours of work: 40 hours per week over 4 days, Monday to Thursday 2.00pm until 12.00am.
This is a key leadership role within the operation, responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of multiple production teams and ensuring production, quality, safety and people objectives are achieved. Acting as the link between Production Team Leaders and the Shift Manager, you will provide leadership, coaching and operational support to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement across the shift.

Key Responsibilities
As Senior Production Team Leader, you will:
- Support the Shift Manager in the effective day-to-day running of production operations.
- Lead, mentor and support Production Team Leaders to achieve operational objectives.
- Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues, helping to minimise downtime and maintain production flow.
- Deputise for the Shift Manager when required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies and safe working practices.
- Monitor production performance and coordinate labour and resources to achieve production and quality targets.
- Support workforce planning and effective deployment of skills across production areas.
- Assist with employee performance, attendance, conduct and development matters.
- Lead clear and effective shift handovers.
- Monitor key production and quality KPIs and report performance trends.
- Support investigations into quality, safety and production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity and working practices.
- Build strong working relationships across departments and promote a positive team culture.
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, accountability and a commitment to company values.
