About the Role
Pack & Send is a specialist packing, shipping and logistics business, providing tailored solutions for businesses and individuals across the UK and internationally.
We are looking for an energetic, motivated and sales-driven Sales & Customer Service Executive to join our Hammersmith and Oxford Circus team.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining sales, telesales, direct marketing, customer service and logistics.
You will work closely with our Business Manager and Director, helping with the day-to-day operations of the business while taking an active role in generating new sales, following up on existing opportunities, and developing customer relationships.
We are looking for someone who isn't afraid to pick up the phone, follow up a quotation, approach a potential customer or visit a local business to introduce Pack & Send.
Key Responsibilities
- Make proactive outbound sales calls to prospective customers and businesses
- Follow up estimates and quotations sent to customers and help convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Contact existing and previous customers to identify repeat-business opportunities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities
- Carry out direct, face-to-face marketing to potential local business customers
- Visit and engage prospective clients in Hammersmith, Oxford Circus and surrounding areas
- Support and run local sales and marketing campaigns
- Develop relationships with corporate and business customers
- Handle incoming telephone, email and walk-in enquiries
- Provide professional and friendly customer service
- Understand customers' requirements and help identify suitable packing and shipping solutions
- Assist with quotations, bookings and shipment administration
- Support the Business Manager with daily store operations
- Assist with in-store activities, packing enquiries and general administration
- Maintain accurate records and ensure customer enquiries and quotations are followed up
- Open and close the store as a key holder, including cash handling and basic security checks
- Work from both Hammersmith and Oxford Circus when required
About You
We're looking for someone with energy, confidence, enthusiasm and a genuine interest in sales and business development.
You should be:
- Confident and professional on the telephone and face-to-face
- Sales-driven and comfortable generating new business
- Comfortable making outbound telephone calls
- Confident approaching and speaking to potential business customers
- Persistent and organised when following up estimates and enquiries
- Target and results focused
- Friendly and professional with excellent customer-service skills
- A strong communicator and listener
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and customer enquiries
- Reliable, responsible and trustworthy
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Willing to learn and develop your knowledge of packing, shipping and logistics
- Comfortable taking responsibility for key-holder duties
Previous experience in sales, telesales, direct marketing, business development or customer service would be highly desirable.
Experience in shipping, logistics, courier services, freight, removals, packaging or a related industry would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided.

You don't need to know everything about shipping from day one — we can teach you the logistics side of the business.
