Full Time ZAK'S Fish & Grill – Milton Keynes
Pay:
£13.00–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience
We are looking for an experienced Fish & Chips Fryer to join our team at ZAK'S Fish & Grill. This is a full-time, permanent position for someone who has experience working in a busy fish & chip shop and can confidently run the frying section.
Hours -
Full-time position - 40–60+ hours available per week - Up to 12-hour shifts available - Flexible rota - Additional shifts available for anyone wanting more hours - Weekend availability required
Main Duties -
Frying fish and chips to a consistently high standard - Preparing and cooking fresh chips - Preparing and frying battered fish - Managing fryer temperatures and cooking times - Monitoring oil quality - Maintaining excellent portion control - Keeping waste to a minimum - Keeping the frying section clean and organised - Working efficiently during busy service periods - Following all food hygiene and safety procedures
What We're Looking For -
Previous fish & chip shop frying experience strongly preferred - Confident running a fryer section independently - Fast and organised during busy periods - Reliable and punctual - Good understanding of food hygiene - Able to work well as part of a team
