Security Dog Handler with access to a company company vehicle, if required.
We are currently seeking a professional and reliable Security Dog Handler to join our team on a permanent, full-time employed basis.
Pay range: £15.00 per hour if using company vehicle / £17.50 per hour if using own van.
Requirements Applicants must have:
- A valid SIA Licence
- A full UK manual driving licence (if using company vehicle - automatic licence is acceptable if your vehicle is automatic)
- A valid NASDU Team Certificate, or equivalent recognised certification
- Previous security dog handling experience
- Good spoken and written English
- Good communication skills
- The ability to complete required documentation accurately
- A professional approach to dog welfare, operational standards, and site procedures
- Willingness to be screened and vetted to BS7858 standards
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols throughout shifts
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Complete all required reports and documentation accurately
- Work in line with company procedures, site requirements, and relevant legislation
- Maintain high standards of dog welfare, presentation, and operational readiness
- Report incidents, concerns, or welfare issues promptly
