We are seeking an organised, proactive, and dynamic HR Administrator to join our team. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and reporting to the Director of Finance & HR, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the day-to-day operations of the organisation.

The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for HR support, providing guidance to staff and managers while also undertaking a range of office administration responsibilities.
Essential Skills and Experience
· Experience in a generalist HR administration role.
· Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Ability to work independently while adhering to policies, procedures, and deadlines.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
· HR Administration
- Act as the first point of contact for staff and managers on day-to-day HR queries.
- Support the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, including application screening, interview scheduling, and liaison with recruitment agencies.
- Coordinate the onboarding of new employees, including DBS checks, pre-employment checks, and induction planning.
- Manage employee offboarding processes.
- Maintain and update employee records using the HR information system, ensuring all documentation is uploaded accurately.
- Maintain the Single Central Record and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Record and monitor annual leave, time off in lieu, sickness absence, and other leave arrangements, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
- Maintain Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and training records, including arranging and booking training where required.
- Provide support on a range of HR matters as required.
·Office Administration
- Manage office equipment and service contracts, including photocopiers, visitor sign-in system, room booking system, and franking machines.
- Assist with the scheduling and administration of Senior Management Team and Board meetings.
- Act as a point of contact for incoming enquiries, directing and delegating actions as appropriate.
- Review administrative processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and greater efficiency.
- Other support tasks as required.
- Proven experience in an administrative role within human resources or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as Workday, Taleo, PeopleSoft or similar systems is highly advantageous.
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools is beneficial for managing candidate relationships and social media engagement.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration across teams.
- Demonstrated ability in data entry accuracy and attention to detail is critical.
- Prior exposure to social media management tools and strategies is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices within human resources will support success in this role.
Salary and Benefits:
A competitive salary, dependent on experience, will be offered to the successful candidate, together with:
- 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays (FTE)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 25-30 hours.
