We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our KierBAM Joint Venture team based in Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard.

Hours: 45 hours per week

KierBAM is a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall, currently delivering an exciting redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth. We're seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join our team in this dynamic and rewarding environment. You'll be working in a live MOD facility, contributing to a significant project that makes a real difference.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Section Engineer, you'll be working within the WRB team, supporting them in delivering this important redevelopment project. Your day to day will include:
- Managing the preparation of as-built drawings and maintaining the Project Quality Plan
- Providing and maintaining setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction
- Overseeing the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, including drainage, concrete, and brickwork
- Providing engineering support to overcome technical problems and answer queries
- Managing systems to review work progress against time, quality, dimensions and quantity
What are we looking for?
This role of Section Engineer is great for you if:
- You hold a Civil Engineering related qualification (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, or MEng)
- You have your SMSTS and CSCS White PQP/AQP or Black Managers card
- You're working towards or hold Chartership/Incorporation with IStructE, ICE or another appropriate professional body
- You have experience with reinforcement detailing, formwork and falsework
- You possess strong communication skills and enjoy collaborative working
