About the role
We are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function across a small, diverse group of businesses.
This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of 2 days per week to be based in the ELC office in Haddington, East Lothian.
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, evidenced by UK citizenship, settled or pre-settled status, or another visa type that grants the right to work.
What we are looking for
You will have:
· Proven experience across core finance activities, including bookkeeping, VAT, cash flow, and strong data-driven management reporting, with the ability to produce insight-led outputs to support decision-making
· A deep understanding of UK VAT and accounting requirements across small and multi-entity businesses
· Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
· Confidence working independently with full ownership of the finance function, with the ability to prioritise and make sound decisions
· Proficient in accounting software, including Xero, and Microsoft Excel
You will be comfortable taking responsibility for the finance function and working closely with senior leadership in a small, fast-moving environment.

Pay: From £42,000.00 per year
