Window to the Womb, Slough is a private pregnancy and women's health clinic providing ultrasound scans, prenatal testing and patient-centred care.
We are looking for a friendly, confident and highly organised Patient Care Coordinator to join our team and help us deliver an exceptional experience to every patient and family visiting our clinic.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position combining reception, patient care, clinic administration and support for our clinical team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service.
- Managing appointments, payments, telephone calls and emails.
- Supporting Sonographers and assisting with the patient journey.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and clinic administration.
- Supporting phlebotomist with NIPT and Early Gender blood testing services.
- Explaining relevant scan packages, services and products to patients.
- Helping maintain a clean, organised and professional clinic environment.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Warm, professional and confident with patients.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a busy environment.
- Confident using computers and learning new systems.
- A strong communicator and team player.
- Reliable, proactive and flexible.
- Comfortable discussing and recommending additional services to patients.
Regular weekend availability is essential, as weekends are our busiest clinic sessions.
Previous experience in healthcare, medical reception, customer service, hospitality or retail would be advantageous but is not essential.
Phlebotomy experience would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
