Ballantine Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a prestigious premium food retail business with the appointment of a Quality Manager.
This is a rare opportunity to join an internationally recognised organisation where quality, food safety and customer excellence are at the heart of everything they do.
Working within a fast-paced production environment, you'll lead an established Quality team while driving Food Safety, Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement across multiple production kitchens. The role is central to embedding robust food safety and quality processes during an exciting period of operational transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop an established Quality team.
- Drive Food Safety, HACCP and BRCGS standards.
- Build, maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System.
- Coach and influence operational teams to strengthen food safety culture.
- Investigate customer complaints and implement preventative actions.
- Partner with Operations to deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
- Deputise for the Technical Manager when required.
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
- Previous Quality Management experience within Food Manufacturing, Premium Food Retail or Food Service.
- Strong knowledge of BRCGS (or equivalent GFSI standards), HACCP and Quality Management Systems.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for food safety, quality and continuous improvement.
