Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service at the counter
- Assist customers with their medication needs and answer any questions they may have
- Process prescription orders and ensure accuracy in medication dispensing
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, restocking as needed
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to ensure efficient workflow
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures, including medication safety protocols
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic pharmacy operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors
- Basic computer skills for data entry and prescription processing
Note: This position does not require certification as a pharmacy technician, but previous experience or certification is a plus.
