Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms, ensuring a high standard of comfort and hygiene for all visitors. Previous experience in hotel or janitorial services is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry in a professional environment.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities
- Ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linen as required
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends and holidays if necessary
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning duties is desirable
- A positive attitude towards delivering excellent guest service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Pay: £2,118.33-£9,419.25 per month
