Hgv Technician salaries in Abingdon, OXF

Qualifications: Strong communication skills and a valid driving license (Cat B) are required. A valid driving license, Cat B.

Spot checking of driver walkaround checks and fitness to work. Applicant would ideally have IRTEC qualification. 6 Weekly inspections/PMI's.

Residential Weeks: This course requires periods of staying away from home, typically for one week at a time, to study and train at the learning academy.

Cat C (Class 2) licence. At least 5 years’ experience in commercial vehicle maintenance or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). Additional annual leave after 3 years.

£45,200 - £55,000 a year

Full UK driving license (HGV licence desirable). HGV Mechanic: 2 years (required). Ideally NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.

From £20 an hour

A qualified Vehicle Technician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). HGV or Class 2 Licence. Complete vehicle inspections and health checks.
