Our retail stores are the face of our charity on the high-street and in local communities. Full training and experience of working in retail as a volunteer.

Writing informative and accurate descriptions of the items we are selling including details about condition, measurements and any defects or flaws.

Our amazing team of vibrant & diverse volunteers helps us run our retail shops, raising money for vulnerable children, young people and families across the UK.

Location: Local community (home visits & phone calls). Visit an older person in their home or offer regular friendly calls. Time commitment: 1–2 hours per week.

You don’t need to be a technical expert. All DBS checks arranged and paid for by Age Well East.

You will be greeting customers, helping them find the items they’re looking for and answering their questions, with help on hand from the shop team.
