Land Management Ltd is a well-established, privately owned property and management company with over 100 years of trading. Our head office is located in the heart of Romford on the Market Place, and we own and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential and mixed-use properties across East London, Essex and the South East.

Our business is hands-on, entrepreneurial, and continually evolving. We actively manage two small shopping centres, Romford & East Ham, a substantial mixed-use residential development in the center of Romford, a small industrial estate on Mersea Island, warehouses in Rainham and the Little Green Self Storage Ltd which we have 3 sites currently with one under offer, all giving our team the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects rather than a single, repetitive role.

We also provide estate and block management services for a substantial mixed-use development in Romford town centre The Market Place & Nayland Court development, ensuring high standards of property management and customer service for leaseholders, residents and commercial occupiers.

Role - Accounts & Office Assistant (Part-Time) Temporary or Permanent

Location: Romford Shopping Hall, 43 Market Place
Hours: 2–3 days per week (Flexible working hours), temporary contract for 5-6 months or permanent role, start ASAP. 20-24 hours a week, again negotiable

Pay - to be discussed based on experience

We're looking for a friendly, organised, and reliable Accounts & Office Assistant to join our small, busy team.

Sales ledger
Purchase ledger
Processing invoices and payments
Bank reconciliations
General accounts administration
Assisting with office administration and day-to-day tasks
Previous experience in sales ledger and purchase ledger
Good working knowledge of Sage and ideally Xero but not a deal breaker if you are able to learn
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organisational and communication skills
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Friendly, approachable and professional
Enjoys working as part of a small team
Able to manage your workload independently
Positive attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
Flexible working hours to fit around your lifestyle
A friendly and supportive working environment
Varied and interesting role
Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience
