Salaried GP position with a view to partnership
Dr Kent and Partners – Tarporley Health Centre

Dr Kent and Partners at Tarporley Health Centre are looking for a committed and enthusiastic GP to join our friendly, supportive team, with a genuine view to becoming a future partner in the practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for a GP seeking more than a salaried position. We are looking for someone who wants to become part of the long-term future of our well-established rural practice, helping to shape its ongoing development while enjoying continuity of care and strong relationships with our patients.

Dr Kent and Partners are a dispensing practice serving approximately 8,200 patients across three branch surgeries. Our team values collaboration, continuity, and high-quality patient care, and we are keen to welcome a GP who shares these principles. Ideally, we are looking for someone able to work 6–8 sessions per week, although we can offer flexibility for the right candidate.

The post will initially be offered as a salaried GP role, providing the opportunity to get to know the practice and the team. However, this is very much intended as a pathway to partnership for the right individual. We are looking for someone who is keen to invest in the future of the practice and play an active role in its leadership and direction.

As a practice, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive working environment where teamwork, open communication and shared decision-making are at the heart of what we do. You will be encouraged to contribute to practice development, pursue specialist interests and develop leadership skills where desired. Regular clinical discussions, an approachable and experienced multidisciplinary team, and generous protected administrative time help ensure our clinicians can thrive professionally while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Whether you are an experienced GP looking for a fresh challenge or an early-career GP seeking a practice where you can grow and put down roots, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Salary: £11,000- £12,500 per session, depending on experience.
