Job Role
We are looking for a talented CAD Digital Engineer to join our growing team in Watford, supporting the delivery of major infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD-focused professional who is passionate about digital engineering, BIM and innovative ways of working. You'll play a key role in developing, coordinating and managing digital engineering information across complex projects while working alongside multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.

Duties
As a CAD Digital Engineer, you will:
- Produce and coordinate high-quality 2D and 3D CAD deliverables.
- Support BIM and Digital Engineering requirements across projects.
- Create, manage and maintain engineering models and design information.
- Assist with design coordination and model review activities.
- Work within Common Data Environments (CDEs) to manage engineering information.
- Support the implementation of digital engineering standards and best practice.
- Collaborate with engineering, design and project teams to drive efficient project delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across digital delivery processes.
The role will involve working with digital engineering technologies, information management systems and industry-leading software platforms to support major project delivery.
Person Specification
- Strong CAD experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, rail or construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation or similar CAD software.
- Experience producing engineering drawings and digital models.
- Understanding of BIM and Digital Engineering principles.
- Strong attention to detail and information management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable
- Experience working on Transport for London (TfL) projects.
- Experience using Bentley ProjectWise or other Common Data Environments.
- Knowledge of Bentley applications such as OpenRoads or MicroStation.
- Experience with Revit.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM information management standards.
- Experience with design coordination and model validation tools.

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours - Monday to Friday
