We're looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to own our backend architecture while driving the next generation of AI-powered automation across the business. From intelligent internal tools to AI agents and workflow automation, you'll help redefine how Geomiq operates.
This is a technical-first leadership role. You won't just manage—you'll architect, build and ship.
Write Production Code: You'll be in the codebase (Laravel/Python) every day.
Architect Systems: Design scalable services, APIs and data pipelines powering our global marketplace.
Build with AI: Create AI-powered internal tools, agents and automations that improve productivity across Engineering, Operations, Sales and Supply Chain.
Automate Business Workflows: Work closely with teams across the business to identify manual processes and use AI, APIs and automation to eliminate repetitive work.
Lead Senior Talent: Mentor a high-calibre team of engineers and data scientists while maintaining a high engineering bar.
Shape the Technical Roadmap: Partner with the CEO and Product team to define the future architecture of the platform.

Backend: Laravel (PHP) – Essential
Frontend: Vue.js / JavaScript
AI & Automation: Python, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, AI Agents, n8n, APIs and workflow automation
Data: SQL, data pipelines and analytics
Infrastructure: API-first architecture, cloud platforms and third-party integrations
A senior software engineer first and a leader second.
Deep experience building production systems with Laravel.
Comfortable designing scalable architectures, APIs and data models.
Passionate about using AI to improve engineering productivity and automate business processes.
Experienced integrating LLMs, APIs and modern automation platforms into real products or internal tooling.
Startup-minded, pragmatic and comfortable balancing speed with long-term architecture.
Someone who enjoys solving business problems with technology—not just writing code.
