About the role

We’re looking for a Commercial Project Manager to take ownership of our outsourced retail technology environment and ensure our stores and support teams have reliable, efficient, and continuously improving systems.

This role is all about maximising value from suppliers, project‑managing third‑party solutions, and ensuring our technology estate is stable and secure.

You’ll act as the central point of accountability for retail technology performance — governing vendors, leading multi‑site deployments, and driving innovation that removes operational complexity and enhances colleague and customer experience.

What you’ll do

Lead vendor performance — Hold outsourced partners to account, drive SLA delivery, and keep stores resilient.
Own major incident escalation — Take charge when things go wrong, coordinating rapid recovery with clear communication.
Maximise ROI from suppliers — Challenge cost, performance, and service quality to ensure best value.
Oversee retail tech infrastructure — EPOS, payments, networking, back‑office systems — you’ll ensure everything is stable and secure.
Collaborate with the outsourced support centre — Make sure incidents are triaged well, prioritised correctly, and communicated clearly.
Deliver multi‑site tech rollouts — Coordinate installers, vendors, and operations to land new systems smoothly.
Lead UAT and pilots — Ensure new platforms integrate properly and work in real‑world store environments.
Drive change management — Prepare store teams for new tech with clear comms, training coordination, and risk mitigation.
Champion continuous improvement — Spot inefficiencies, simplify processes, and reduce incidents over time.
