JOB TITLE: Relief Rail Ambassador
LOCATION: Banbury
PAY RATE: Range from £13.45 - £14.60 per hour
** Driving Licence required with access to own vehicle**
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a dedicated Rail Ambassador to join our team. You will supervise all staff day-to-day rail operations, leading on security incidents and issues, liaising with the customers and stakeholders ensuring smooth running of the contract in accordance with the Assignment Instructions, overseeing rostering and personnel issues. Representing the company across multiple sites.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, Health & Safety policies and other control measures are adhered to.
- Ensure the highest levels of customer service are always maintained by the team.
- Supervise and take the lead on all site security issues, including incidents, accidents, emergencies, and evacuations, supporting and advising members of the security team and client representatives.
- Ensure the team actively and effectively patrol, answer alarms and investigate disturbances, take appropriate action and submit appropriate reports.
- Liaise with the customer, building effective working relationships with management, staff, contractors, site tenants and their representatives, to ensure smooth running of the contract.
- Troubleshoot and resolve site issues – blowouts, conflict situations, etc. – in an efficient and consistent way in accordance with company policy, escalating to Amulet Line Manager as appropriate.
- Carry out welfare visits with every member of staff across the contract monthly and escalate any raised issues or concerns to Amulet Line Manager as appropriate.
- Manage and mobilise deployments across the client network as per the operational requirements submitted by both the client and Amulet Line Manager as appropriate.
- Manage personnel and performance issues including rostering, site induction and training, holidays, absence, pay queries, investigations etc.
- Delivering Toolbox talks
- KPI Reporting
Skills/ Experience:
- You are capable of problem-solving, dealing with a variety of situations and are very customer service-focused.
- You have evidence of strong organizational and time management skills.
- You can demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills.
- You are vigilant and take a “can do” approach and attitude to all tasks.
- You are computer literate, with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office applications.
LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Possession of a SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
- Full UK Driving Licence is required with access to own vehicle.
INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:
Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
You must be able to provide a checkable 5-year employment and address history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods when claiming benefits).
