Maintenance Team Leader | Permanent | £50,000 - £53,000 | Elton
We’re looking for a Maintenance Team Leader to join our Elton Glass team and play a key role in keeping our plant safe, reliable and running at its best.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be right at the heart of our engineering operation, reporting to the General Maintenance Supervisor, the Mechanical Team Leader is the key link between the craft and management functions. Responsible for driving a 'Fix 4 Life' culture and increasing plant equipment uptime, whilst also ensuring focus and engineering resource is effectively assigned to maintain efficiency of the sites 24/7 glass production. The role also demands the ability to problem solve and use engineering initiative whilst holding the capacity to coach and mentor members of the engineering team.
What we're looking for
- Time served mechanical technician with previous manufacturing engineering experience.
- Electro/Mechanical trade bias - 70/30 desirable
- Level 3 ONC/City Guilds qualified
- Experience working within an industrial environment
- Excellent leadership, planning & co-ordination skills
- Coach and Mentor experience
- Capable of working with minimum supervisor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- PRISMA experience (CMMS)
- Computer Literate - Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
