Full job description

Are you passionate about developing people, driving operational excellence, and shaping the future of clinical research?

We are looking for a Manager II, Clinical Operations to lead a team of clinical research professionals across the UK/IRE. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role within our evolving Clinical Network, supporting staff across both FSO and FSP delivery models.

What You'll Do

Lead, coach and develop a team of clinical professionals.
Drive performance management, career development, engagement and succession planning.
Ensure high standards of quality, compliance and regulatory oversight.
Manage resource allocation, utilisation, workload forecasting and workforce planning.
Support recruitment, onboarding and talent development activities.
Partner with project teams, sponsors and operational leaders to ensure successful study delivery.
Champion continuous improvement, standardisation and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

Degree in Life Sciences, Nursing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years' clinical research experience gained within a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare environment
Experience supporting global or regional clinical trial delivery.
Previous people leadership experience with a proven ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams would be advantageous.
Ability to balance employee engagement with performance accountability.
Strong understanding of clinical trial operations, GCP and quality requirements.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and coaching skills.
