We’re a busy 4-star hotel in the heart of Manchester, just minutes from Piccadilly Station, and we’re looking for a talented Demi Chef de Partie to support the delivery of exceptional food across our restaurant, bar, room service, events, and conference operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in a professional kitchen where quality, teamwork, and development are at the heart of everything we do.

What You’ll Do

Food Preparation Service:

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with company recipes and brand standards
Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in delivering smooth and efficient service
Ensure all dishes are presented to a consistently high standard
Assist across different kitchen sections as required, developing your skills and experience

Kitchen Organisation Teamwork:

Prepare ingredients and ensure your section is fully stocked and organised for service
Maintain a clean, efficient, and well-organised workstation throughout your shift
Support stock rotation and minimise food waste through effective preparation and storage
Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver an excellent guest experience

Standards, Hygiene Safety:

Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Follow all food safety, allergen, and health safety procedures
Complete temperature checks and food safety records accurately
Ensure full compliance with HACCP guidelines and company policies at all times

What You’ll Bring:

Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a busy kitchen
A genuine passion for fresh food and high-quality cooking
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
