We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our KierBAM Joint Venture team based in Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard.

Location: Plymouth – Devonport Royal Dockyard
Hours: 45 hours per week

KierBAM is a Joint Venture partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall, currently delivering an exciting redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth. We're seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join our team in this dynamic and rewarding environment. You'll be working in a live MOD facility, contributing to a significant project that makes a real difference.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Section Engineer, you'll be working within the WRB team, supporting them in delivering this important redevelopment project. Your day to day will include:

Managing the preparation of as-built drawings and maintaining the Project Quality Plan
Providing and maintaining setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction
Overseeing the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, including drainage, concrete, and brickwork
Providing engineering support to overcome technical problems and answer queries
Managing systems to review work progress against time, quality, dimensions and quantity

What are we looking for?

This role of Section Engineer is great for you if:

You hold a Civil Engineering related qualification (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, or MEng)
You have your SMSTS and CSCS White PQP/AQP or Black Managers card
You're working towards or hold Chartership/Incorporation with IStructE, ICE or another appropriate professional body
You have experience with reinforcement detailing, formwork and falsework
You possess strong communication skills and enjoy collaborative working
