JOB REFERENCE: KPTH 08/26

REPORTING TO: Head Chef

HOURS: Full-time, shift patterns from early mornings, daytimes, and evenings.

JOB LOCATION: The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat, 882 Antrim Rd, Templepatrick, Ballyclare BT39 0AH

SALARY: £13.02 - £14.02 per hour

About the role:

Your main responsibility will be to ensure all kitchen cleanliness and assist with general food preparation. We have a dedicated brigade of kitchen porter’s so we are seeking people with excellent, hard-working attitudes.

Job Description:

The main duties of this role include but are not limited to:

Washing dishes, pots, and the provision of the required equipment in the kitchen.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing areas including walls, fridges, floors, racks, and anything else required by the chefs.
Assisting chefs with basic food preparation.
Following all Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene Regulations.
Responsibility for the security and safe handling of all equipment used.
Carrying out any other duties set by Senior Chefs in the kitchen.

The Person:

Applicants Criteria:

Must be able to use their own initiative and be able to work well under pressure.
Be an excellent team player.
Have a flexible approach to working shift patterns and be available to work days, evenings, and weekends.
Have the ability to communicate well with other team members.

Desirable:

Have previous experience working in a kitchen.
