Full job description

Position: BANK kitchen Assistant/Tea Shift

Responsible to: Manager / Deputy Manager/Head of Kitchen

We are looking for BANK kitchen assistant/tea Shift. Kitchen assistant shifts are 6.30-14.30. Tea Shift is 1500-1900

Shifts are available to cover holidays/sickness as and when they come up

Purpose of position.

1. To be responsible for assisting the cook as the role of Kitchen Assisant and working independently for the Tea Shift.

2. To ensure that a high standard of hygiene is maintained in all food preparation and storage areas.

4. To follow and comply with company policy and procedures.

Principal Responsibilities.

To acquaint all Residents’ with the day’s menu

To assist with the serving and distribution of all meals.

To prepare a selection of sandwiches and light meals for teatime

To ensure that kitchen stock levels are maintained and ordered.

To ensure that all refrigerators and freezers are maintained at the correct temperatures, stock rotation is adhered to and the required records kept up to date.

To ensure that the kitchen is kept in a hygienic and tidy state and ensure that all cleaning duties are fulfilled as per the cleaning roster.

To ensure any other cleaning that may be required is completed before the end of day

Job Types: Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
