At Sync Dental, we are proud to provide high-quality dental care in a friendly, welcoming, and patient-focused environment. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head Dental Nurse to lead our nursing team and help us continue delivering exceptional care to our patients.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and organised individual who enjoys leading by example, supporting colleagues, and maintaining the highest clinical standards.

About the Role

As our Head Dental Nurse, you will play an integral role in the smooth day-to-day running of the clinical team. Working closely with our dentists and practice management, you will ensure our patients receive outstanding care while fostering a positive, supportive workplace for the nursing team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and support the dental nursing team.
Ensure compliance with CQC, HTM, infection prevention and control, and health and safety standards.
Coordinate nurse rotas and daily clinical workflows.
Manage clinical stock levels, place stock orders, and ensure supplies are maintained efficiently.
Maintain clinical standards, equipment, and stock control systems.
Support the recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of nursing staff.
Provide chairside assistance across a range of dental procedures when required.
Promote an excellent patient experience and a culture of teamwork and professionalism.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will:

Be a qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
Have previous experience in a senior or leadership role within a dental practice.
Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Be proactive, reliable, and able to motivate and develop others.
Have experience managing clinical stock and ordering dental materials and consumables.
Have a strong understanding of clinical governance and compliance requirements.
Be passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.
