Full job description

LGV C+E Driver (HGV Class 1) Days - based Tamworth

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) £42,307 basic on a 48 hour week - plus shift premiums
Shift pattern available: Monday to Friday - various start time available between 03:00-06:00
Location: Tamworth B78 3HJ

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to play a vital role in our distribution service.

✅WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
Start times available between 03:00-06:00 - average shift length 12-13 hours
Shift pattern available: Monday to Friday
Hourly rate Days £16.95, Night rate £18.81 paid between 18:00-06:00 and extra premiums for Saturday £1.36 per hour and Sunday £2.54 per hour
Nationwide RDC bay delivery work and backhauls, supplier collections - curtain sided trailer work
Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
✅WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
Have a MINIMUM of 6 months LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) 'on the road' commercial driving experience and have curtain sided trailer experience
Ideally have RDC delivery experience
Live locally to Tamworth
