As the UK water sector continues to invest in more resilient, sustainable wastewater infrastructure, there has never been a better time to join Stantec. Our nationally recognised Urban Drainage Modelling team is helping clients tackle some of the industry's biggest challenges, from reducing flood risk and improving river water quality to supporting long-term network resilience and environmental compliance.
We're looking for a Senior Urban Drainage Modeller to join our growing team, working alongside over 175 specialists across the UK & Ireland. You'll have the opportunity to lead the delivery of complex modelling projects while developing your technical expertise alongside recognised industry experts. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, you'll contribute to nationally significant programmes, explore innovative digital modelling approaches and build the experience needed to progress into future technical or people leadership roles.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Urban Drainage Modeller, you'll take ownership of delivering hydraulic modelling projects, working closely with project managers, technical leaders and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Contributing to digital innovation, technical best practice and continuous improvement across the modelling team.
YOUR IMPACT
Your work will help water companies make better investment decisions, improve network performance and deliver more resilient wastewater systems for the communities they serve. By applying your modelling expertise to complex engineering challenges, you'll contribute to solutions that reduce environmental impacts, support regulatory compliance and help clients prepare for the future.
You'll also play an important role in strengthening our technical capability by supporting the development of junior colleagues, sharing knowledge across the team and helping drive innovation in urban drainage modelling. As you grow within the business, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your technical expertise and develop towards future leadership opportunities.
