Pay Rate: £28,619.54
Grade: O
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday Rotational 06:00-14:00 / 14:00 -22:00
Location: Scunthorpe DN15 9YA

We're now looking for Transport Operative
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
Support the management team and colleagues to ensure daily transport operations run smoothly.
Check and process all driver paperwork accurately, including tachographs, PODs and relevant OPS documents.
Ensure full compliance with driver hours, legislation and site Health & Safety requirements.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, safety and housekeeping across the transport office and yard.
Escalate any issues to management and assist with additional tasks as needed to keep operations running efficiently.

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
Experience of working in Transport preferred but not essential
IT literate (Microsoft office, Excel & Word) with experience of Microlise preferred but not essential
A good organiser, capable of working on own initiative but who works equally well as an effective team player
Good communication skills essential
