Job Summary

About TaskNation

Whether someone needs a cleaner, handyman, plumber, electrician, dog walker, gardener, furniture assembler, flooring installer, kitchen fitter, painter & decorator, security guard, end of tenancy refurbishment, full property renovation, temporary workers or almost any other service, TaskNation makes it simple to find reliable help through one platform.

We're looking for an ambitious, confident and motivated Business Development Executive to help grow TaskNation by introducing our platform to businesses and organisations across the UK.

The Role

Working remotely from home, you'll use the TaskNation HQ system to contact businesses, build relationships, generate partnerships and help organisations understand how TaskNation can support their staffing and service requirements.

No two days are the same. You'll communicate with organisations across a wide range of industries, helping them discover how TaskNation can support everything from one-off jobs and long-term projects to temporary staffing and ongoing business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Contact estate agents and letting agencies
Build relationships with landlords and property management companies
Contact local councils and housing associations
Introduce TaskNation to private businesses and commercial organisations
Build partnerships with security companies and security service providers
Contact facilities management companies
Speak with builders' merchants such as B&Q, Wickes and other trade suppliers
Contact kitchen, bathroom and furniture retailers
Reach out to construction companies and property developers
Contact cleaning companies and commercial cleaning providers
Build relationships with offices, warehouses, hospitality businesses, schools, care homes and other organisations
Contact businesses that regularly require temporary workers
Generate new business opportunities and long-term partnerships
Make outbound business calls
Send professional emails and follow up enquiries
Arrange and attend meetings where required
Demonstrate the benefits of TaskNation and how the platform works
Keep accurate records using the TaskNation HQ system
Represent the TaskNation brand professionally at all times

Working Pattern

Self-employed position
Approximately 9 hours per week
Three 3-hour shifts per week
Remote (Work From Home)
Monthly payments

Equipment Requirements

Applicants must have:

Reliable high-speed internet
Laptop or desktop computer
Printer with scanning capability (or printer with scanner)
Quiet home workspace suitable for business calls
Professional telephone manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Performance & Quality Standards

All work is carried out using the TaskNation HQ system.

The system records work activity, including calls made, emails sent, follow-ups, meeting notes and completed tasks.

As part of our quality assurance process, activity may be reviewed to ensure accurate reporting and professional communication. This may include reviewing activity logs, verifying communications and, where appropriate, confirming interactions with prospective clients or partners.

This ensures transparency, accountability and fair performance assessments while maintaining the high standards expected by TaskNation.

This role is initially offered on a self-employed basis while TaskNation continues to grow.
