Full job description

Outline of Role

This role supports the Company’s sales and business development strategy by planning, creating, and managing marketing communications across digital, print, CRM, events, and sales support activities.

The role is full time, based at our Loughborough office, and requires 37.5 hours per week.

The role is expected to focus on digital marketing, which will account for approximately 50% of responsibilities, alongside sales projects, analysis, and market research. The candidate will complete regular tasks and projects within this remit as directed.

This hands-on marketing role is suited to someone with experience in digital marketing, content creation, CRM, market research, and sales support within a B2B engineering sector. The successful candidate will help strengthen VBC Group’s marketing presence, support customer engagement, and contribute practical marketing input to sales and business development projects.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Carry out digital marketing and social media tasks on a weekly and monthly basis.

2. Support the sales division with their in-person events, ie trade shows

3. Manage website updates, website improvements, and direct marketing communications, including mailshots and mailing lists.

4. Complete other marketing tasks within agreed timescales as directed by the Sales Manager and/or Director.

5. Maintain clear communication with the Sales Manager, Director, General Manager, and relevant departments, keeping them informed of role-related developments.

Job Requirements

A degree in digital marketing, marketing, or a related business subject is required, or alternatively 3–5 years’ experience in a B2B marketing role.

Experience with WordPress, Canva, Adobe, LinkedIn, and the use of AI in marketing is desirable.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
