Project Manager, Commercial Integration & Go-to-Market
Overview
Mastercard is advancing its digital assets strategy through the integration of BVNK to unlock new commercial opportunities across payments, settlement, and money movement.
We are seeking a Project Manager to serve as the central orchestrator of Mastercard–BVNK commercialization efforts, responsible for driving alignment cross-functionally to provide visibility on pipeline growth, GTM alignment, and execution discipline across fintech, digital asset, PSP, and FI segments.
This role will be critical in establishing the sales operating model, go-to-market (GTM) motions, and revenue synergies across Settlement, Mastercard Move, MTN (Pay & Receive), Card Issuance, and future opportunities while ensuring alignment across multiple global sales organizations.
Role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Integration & Sales Operating Model (SOM)
- Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of the Mastercard-BVNK Sales Operating Model (SOM) to enable effective commercialization across Mastercard use cases.
- Define and operationalize sales roles, responsibilities, engagement models, and decision-making frameworks across Global Partnerships, Digital Commercialization, Mastercard Move, FI Account Management & Business Development, PSP Sales, and BVNK sales teams.
- Establish governance structures and clear interaction frameworks between Mastercard and BVNK sales organizations to support coordinated client engagement, opportunity management, and revenue generation.
- Drive alignment across sales teams, processes, tools, and reporting to ensure a seamless and scalable commercial motion.
- Identify and resolve gaps, risks, dependencies, and organizational barriers impacting sales execution and synergy realization.
2. Commercialization Strategy & GTM Execution
- Lead the planning and coordination of Mastercard-BVNK commercialization initiatives, ensuring alignment across global and regional sales stakeholders.
- Develop and manage GTM readiness plans, including market prioritization, target segments, customer engagement approaches, and commercialization milestones.
- Coordinate execution across priority opportunity areas including Settlement, Mastercard Move, MTN Pay & Receive, Card Issuance, and future digital asset use cases.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable sales motions, adoption plans, and measurable commercial outcomes.
- Track progress against revenue synergy objectives and commercialization KPIs, providing visibility to senior leadership.
3. Sales Enablement & Organizational Readiness
- Coordinate the development and rollout of sales enablement resources to support successful adoption of Mastercard-BVNK solutions.
- Partner with Sales Excellence, Learning & Development, Product, and Marketing teams to drive sales readiness and digital asset fluency across global sales organizations.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of playbooks, training programs, solution positioning materials, and best practices.
- Support regional champions and sales leaders in driving consistency, adoption, and execution excellence across markets.
4. Commercial Policy, Pricing & Incentive Alignment
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment on pricing approaches, sales engagement models, and incentive frameworks designed to support joint selling and cross-sell opportunities.
- Establish governance and operational processes for lead management, opportunity qualification, deal approvals, and escalation pathways.
- Partner with Finance, People & Capability, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure commercial frameworks are scalable, compliant, and aligned to business objectives.
- Drive consistency and transparency across commercial processes to improve execution effectiveness.
5. Systems, Tools & Performance Management
- Lead coordination of commercial systems, tools, and reporting processes supporting Mastercard-BVNK sales activities.
- Ensure effective adoption and integration of Salesforce, Seismic, pipeline reporting, and performance tracking capabilities.
- Collaborate with business and operational teams to align customer onboarding, contracting, billing, and sales support processes.
- Develop executive reporting and dashboarding to monitor pipeline growth, sales effectiveness, GTM adoption, and synergy realization.
6. Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the central orchestrator across Mastercard and BVNK stakeholders, ensuring alignment and accountability across sales, product, partnerships, commercialization, marketing, operations, and finance teams.
- Lead governance forums, working groups, and executive updates to drive decision-making, manage dependencies, and maintain momentum.
- Facilitate collaboration across multiple sales organizations and regional teams to ensure a unified approach to market engagement.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders to support successful commercial integration.
7. Revenue Synergies & Strategic Growth
- Identify, assess, and coordinate opportunities to unlock additional revenue synergies across Mastercard and BVNK products and customer segments.
- Partner with Product, Commercialization, and BVNK leadership teams to prioritize emerging opportunities, pilots, partnerships, and new commercial motions.
- Support the evolution of Mastercard's digital asset commercialization strategy by providing insights, recommendations, and execution support.
- Contribute to long-term growth planning and commercialization roadmap development across the digital assets ecosystem.

- Program/project management experience; leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives, transformations, or post-M&A integrations.
- Experience in payments, fintech, digital assets, or enterprise commercialization strategy

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with stablecoins, tokenization, or blockchain-based payment systems
Strong understanding of:
o Cross-border payments, settlement, and treasury flows
o Crypto infrastructure and on/off-ramps
o Card issuing and embedded finance
- Familiarity with Mastercard products (Move, MTN, issuing, settlement)
- Experience in sales enablement, marketing, commercial strategy, or post-M&A integration
- Global experience across multiple regions and regulatory environments
