We’re Almond Family Pubs – a proud, independent group known for doing things properly. Our newly refurbished and rebranded premium pub in Cheadle Hulme is looking for a brilliant Assistant Manager to support and lead alongside a fantastic management team.

With 200 indoor covers and a further 230 outside, this is a big, busy, food-led site that will be a true community hub. Expect a fresh, seasonal menu, classic pub favourites with a premium twist, and a new team to develop and lead.

Our Assistant Managers

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our pub. That means you'll be serving guests in the bar & restaurant, training & leading our team and managing busy services & special events. As Assistant Manager at Almond Family Pubs, you will have a genuine passion for exceptional customer service and a pro-active approach to team management.

What we need from you…

A passion for everything hospitality, a smile and ability to entertain our customers and nurture our team
Be warm and friendly with natural ‘presence’
The ability to deliver outstanding customer service leading to exceptional guest satisfaction
Ability to train, coach and mentor the front of house team
Be reliable and flexible
Competent use the EPOS, back office stock systems, HR and Microsoft packages
A keen eye for detail, always looking for the next task or challenge to overcome
Willingness to learn new skills
