This role focuses on learning and supporting the manufacture of double glazed units (DGUs) and the creation of resin design glass products. Key ResponsibilitiesDouble Glazed Unit Production
- Assist in the assembly and production of double glazed units.
- Measure, cut, and prepare glass panes to required specifications.
- Fit spacer bars, apply desiccant, and seal units using appropriate materials.
- Operate machinery such as glass cutters, edge polishers, and sealing equipment under supervision.
- Inspect finished units to ensure quality standards and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate production records.
Resin Design Glass Creation
- Assist in the preparation and application of resin designs onto glass panels.
- Follow design templates and technical drawings.
- Mix, apply, and cure resin materials safely and accurately.
- Ensure consistency in colour, texture, and finish.
- Clean and prepare glass surfaces before and after resin application.
- Package and protect finished decorative glass products.
General Duties
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
- Support senior technicians and supervisors as required.
- Participate in training sessions and skill development activities.
- Report equipment faults or quality issues promptly.

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable UPVC Fabricator to join our busy manufacturing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of high-quality UPVC windows, doors and other UPVC products, ensuring all products are manufactured accurately and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate UPVC windows, doors and frames to customer specifications.
- Read and work from manufacturing drawings and cutting lists.
- Accurately measure, cut and prepare UPVC profiles.
- Assemble frames, sashes, doors and other UPVC products.
- Install hardware, locks, handles, hinges and other components.
- Glaze units where required.
- Use fabrication machinery, hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Check finished products for quality, accuracy and defects.
- Ensure products meet company and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in UPVC fabrication.
- Experience manufacturing UPVC windows and doors.
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Ability to read measurements, drawings and cutting specifications.
- Experience using UPVC fabrication machinery and hand tools.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience is essential, although applicants with relevant manufacturing or fabrication experience may also be considered.
