Data Entry Administrator
Location: Worcester, hybrid working
Salary: £28,150
Contract: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday
Reports to: Project Manager
Company: Enviromontel
Enviromontel is a leading flow monitoring, training and rescue services provider working across a range of industries, with a long record of safety excellence and real expertise in hazardous and unusual environments. We work in partnership with our clients to solve their strategic priorities and help them operate more safely and efficiently.
Everything we deliver rests on data coming back from the field accurately. If it is entered wrong, cleaned badly or filed somewhere nobody can find it, the reporting is wrong and the client decision built on it is wrong too. The Data Entry Administrator is the person who makes sure that does not happen.
We are growing quickly, which means there is genuine scope here to develop and progress rather than sit still.
What the job involves
You will enter, update and maintain data across Excel spreadsheets, databases and other company systems, taking responsibility for the accuracy, completeness and consistency of what goes in. A good part of the role is validating, cleaning and standardising data before it is submitted or reported, and spotting the errors and inconsistencies that need escalating rather than quietly passing them along.
You will keep electronic and paper records organised and systematically filed, support project teams with data-related tasks and reporting requirements and manage your own deadlines so that work lands on time. There will be other administrative and operational duties alongside that, as there always is in a business moving at this pace.
What we need from you
- At least two years in data entry, administration or a closely similar role
- At least two years of solid Microsoft Office use, particularly Excel and Word
- A high level of accuracy and genuine attention to detail when verifying data
- Strong problem-solving instincts when data does not reconcile
- Good organisational skills, planning and diary management
- Clear communication and the confidence to flag a problem early
Wastewater industry experience is an advantage but not something we expect. What matters more is temperament: someone who works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, who shares information rather than sitting on it, and who has the determination to see a messy dataset through to the end.
What you get
The salary is £28,150. Alongside it sits hybrid working, a company pension, a yearly bonus, additional leave for years of service plus your birthday off, company events, a gym pass and free on-site parking.
