Role overview
The role will support the design, development, and maintenance of digital services, including web content management, software development, and system integration.
Key responsibilities include:

Maintaining and improving the Council’s websites and digital services

Supporting development of software solutions using modern programming languages
-
Assisting with testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of systems
-
Ensuring accessibility, usability, and security standards are met
The apprentice will also gain experience in programming, agile delivery, and digital service design while working alongside Digital, IT and service teams.

Assist in developing web features and tools using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and backend technologies
