Header: Duties
- Design and develop visually appealing websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Bootstrap, and Redux.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups utilizing tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Balsamiq, Axure, and InVision to visualize user flows and interface layouts.
- Implement responsive web design principles to ensure optimal viewing experiences on desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
- Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) by applying best practices in content structure and technical configurations.
- Maintain and update existing websites built on content management systems such as WordPress and Drupal; perform regular website maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate user research and usability testing into intuitive interface designs.
- Use version control systems like Git to manage code changes efficiently; document development processes clearly for team collaboration.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services using AJAX, PHP, Python, Node.js, and SQL databases like MySQL to enhance website functionality.
- Conduct usability testing and analyze data with tools like Google Analytics to improve user experience continually.
- Assist in creating engaging multimedia content using Adobe Creative Suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign, Flash (where applicable), and Acrobat.
Header: Experience
- Proven experience in web design and front-end development with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive websites.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/SASS), JavaScript (including frameworks such as React or Angular), and PHP for dynamic website features.
- Hands-on experience with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal; familiarity with website maintenance tasks.
- Skilled in graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; experience creating visual assets for web use.
- Knowledge of UX principles, wireframing tools (Balsamiq, Axure), user research methodologies, and information architecture best practices.
- Familiarity with SEO strategies and analytics platforms like Google Analytics to monitor site performance.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team using version control systems like Git; comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
