Duties
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, and Ruby on Rails.
- Contribute to front-end development tasks, ensuring user-friendly interfaces and seamless user experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and RESTful services for robust application functionality.
- Manage version control using SVN and GitHub, ensuring code integrity and efficient workflow.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes to uphold high-quality standards.
- Support database management activities involving SQL and MySQL, including query optimisation and data integrity checks.
- Contribute to cloud-based infrastructure deployment and management on platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Assist in the development of automation scripts using VBA or Linux scripting to optimise operational processes.
- Engage in continuous learning of new technologies and frameworks relevant to software development.
Experience
- Proven experience or strong familiarity with software development practices across multiple programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, or VBA.
- Experience with front-end development frameworks and tools is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of version control systems such as SVN and GitHub is essential.
- Familiarity with API integration (RESTful services) and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is advantageous.
- Understanding of database systems including SQL and MySQL; experience with data management is preferred.
- Knowledge of operating systems such as Linux; experience with application deployment on cloud infrastructure is a plus.
- Prior involvement in application development projects demonstrating problem-solving skills and collaborative teamwork is preferred.

Pay: £27,418.93-£83,962.27 per year
