As our Brand Project Manager you’ll report to our Principal Brand Designer, Alison Newman. The Brand team owns how we present ourselves to the market; and their mission is to build an exceptional, globally-recognized technology brand. You’ll support the brand team by managing demands on their time, prioritizing activities that lead to growth.
Planning & Facilitation
You’ll help us smooth our operational rhythm; supporting weekly, monthly, quarterly planning
You’ll facilitate weekly, monthly, quarterly planning activities - from team huddles to wider share-outs, ensuring the right people are involved
You’ll select, configure and use the right tools to support your work - if that’s a spreadsheet, great. If that’s a dedicated project management tool, also great.
Programme Management
You’ll help us to move from simple task-management to more streamlined programme delivery
You will formalize brand programmes (e.g. brand standards, marketing/comms, employer brand, website), ensuring each one has clear scope, business objectives, key stakeholders, go-to designers
Project Management
You will define larger pieces of work within our brand programmes, ensuring they have a clear plan, timeline, resources, people etc.
You will define the scope of those projects, rally the team, report on progress as work unfolds, clarify/course-correct as required, and deliver the work.
Task Management
You will triage all inbound demands on the brand team’s time, clarify requests, and sort smaller tasks from larger projects
You will prioritize demands against business and programme objectives, and communicate with requestors/stakeholders - setting out a plan, timeline etc.
You’ll connect the right tasks to the right designers, help them get started and support them as they deliver the work
Stakeholder Management
You’ll become the key interface between the brand team and the wider business, building relationships with various functions responding to requests for information, and being proactive about sharing information
Communicate with suppliers, helping to ensure all projects are produced to a high standard within the time-frame
Creative Engagement
Helping us generate ideas, refine them, bring them forward as either brand experiences or enhancements to our products
Applying your taste, experience, judgement to identify places where we can use design to grow faster / do more
Watching for gaps in our thinking, our programmes and addressing them with the team
Observing what our competitors and reference brands are doing, and looking for ways we can push our brand forward
Essential Skills
5+ years of relevant design and brand project management experience
Working in-house at a technology or digital product company, or relevant agency experience
Experience collaboraitng with teams of designers, engineers
Excellent project management skills; from discovery through definition, design and delivery
Excellent communication skills; ability to manage flows of information across a wide group of people
Experience in digital design with some fundamental skills in brand design, graphic design, comms design
Ideally we need somebody who can:
Collaborate; you’ll be working as part of a creative team and need to know how to work effectively as a group
Deliver efficiently; taking the right amount of time to get to the solution, but no more
Deliver consistently; get into operational rhythm, delivering work weekly, monthly quarterly with minimal wasted energy

Cloudsmith is headquartered in Belfast, Northern Ireland, with fully-equipped office space that’s open 24x7. We also hold all-hands offsites in Belfast twice yearly, with guest speakers and team activities. Many Cloudsmithers work remotely, so we rely on our online collaboration tools; Slack, Google Docs, Linear, and other popular collaboration tools are how we work.
