Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PHP Laravel Developer to join our well-established and growing web business. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented developer with a strong background in Laravel, Microsoft CRM development, and general IT support.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining our web applications while also providing support across our IT infrastructure, including software and hardware. This is a varied role that combines hands-on software development with practical IT responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Develop, customise, and support Microsoft CRM solutions and integrations.
- Maintain and improve existing applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Provide day-to-day IT support across the business, including software installation, hardware troubleshooting, and user support.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' commercial experience developing with PHP and Laravel.
- Strong knowledge of Laravel architecture, REST APIs, and modern development practices.
- Proven experience developing and supporting Microsoft CRM (Dynamics CRM) solutions.
- Solid understanding of MySQL and database design.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and services.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience providing IT support across software, hardware, and desktop environments.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with cloud-hosted applications and services.
