About the Role:
Belfast is a growing technology and business services hub, and at GR Discovery Solutions Ltd, we focus on delivering dependable digital solutions that help organisations work more efficiently. We combine practical technology with a strong focus on quality, usability, and customer experience. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst who can help ensure our software and digital products meet high standards before they reach customers. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project teams to identify issues, improve testing processes, and support reliable product releases.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment: Our Belfast team works in a professional and collaborative environment where quality, communication, and continuous improvement are valued. We encourage employees to share ideas and contribute to better ways of working.
Quality Culture: Quality is considered throughout the development process rather than being treated as a final checkpoint. You will have the opportunity to influence testing practices and help improve product reliability.
Modern Technology: Our technology teams work with modern web applications and development tools. You will collaborate directly with developers and business teams to understand requirements and validate completed features.
Growth: We support professional development through practical training, knowledge sharing, and opportunities to expand your testing and technology skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning: Create and maintain test plans and test cases based on functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Functional Testing: Perform manual testing across web applications and digital products, identifying defects and verifying that new features work as expected.
Defect Management: Record, investigate, and track defects through resolution. Provide clear information that enables developers to reproduce and resolve issues efficiently.
Regression Testing: Carry out regression and retesting activities following software changes, fixes, and new releases.
Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts, project coordinators, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate testing results.
Quality Improvement: Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to testing procedures, documentation, and release processes.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related technology role.
Testing Skills: Practical experience with functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, defect reporting, and test case preparation.
Tools: Experience using issue tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar platforms.
Technical Understanding: A good understanding of web applications, software development processes, APIs, databases, and common software testing principles.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to both technical and non technical colleagues.
Mindset: You are detail oriented, organised, and practical. You know how to investigate an issue thoroughly while keeping testing aligned with business priorities and release deadlines.
Pay: £2,970.00-£3,200.00 per month
Work Location: In person
