Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven WordPress Website Developer & SEO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our WordPress website to achieve excellent performance, improve search engine rankings, secure Google AdSense approval, and maximize revenue through affiliate marketing.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who understands both the technical and marketing aspects of running a successful website. The successful candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of implementing strategies that increase website traffic, user engagement, and online revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and improve our WordPress website using best development practices.
Customize WordPress themes and plugins without affecting website performance or security.
Improve website speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience.
Conduct complete technical SEO audits and resolve all SEO-related issues.
Optimize website structure, internal linking, URLs, metadata, schema markup, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and crawlability.
Implement effective on-page and technical SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
Perform keyword research and optimize existing and future content for organic traffic.
Create and implement strategies aimed at achieving first-page rankings on Google for targeted keywords.
Prepare the website for Google AdSense approval by ensuring compliance with Google's content, quality, navigation, privacy, and technical requirements.
Identify and resolve any issues that may prevent AdSense approval.
Integrate and manage Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and other webmaster tools.
Develop and implement affiliate marketing strategies by integrating affiliate networks and optimizing affiliate content for maximum conversions.
Create SEO-friendly landing pages and optimize call-to-action elements to increase affiliate revenue.
Monitor website performance, rankings, traffic, and conversion metrics, providing regular reports with recommendations for improvement.
Ensure website security through regular updates, backups, malware prevention, and performance monitoring.
Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain website stability.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement content and SEO strategies that support business growth.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience developing and managing WordPress websites.
Strong knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, customizations, and website optimization.
Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, or similar.
Strong understanding of Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, and website architecture.
Proven experience improving Google search rankings through ethical (White Hat) SEO practices.
Experience preparing websites for Google AdSense approval and resolving policy compliance issues.
Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, or Rank Math/Yoast SEO.
Experience implementing structured data (Schema Markup), XML sitemaps, canonical tags, redirects, and Core Web Vitals optimization.
Knowledge of affiliate marketing platforms such as Amazon Associates, CJ Affiliate, Impact, ShareASale, Awin, or other affiliate networks.
Understanding of website monetization strategies through display advertising, affiliate marketing, and organic traffic growth.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript for WordPress customization is preferred.
Familiarity with website security, backups, hosting management, and CDN implementation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide regular progress updates and performance reports.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven portfolio of successful WordPress websites.
Demonstrated success in obtaining Google AdSense approval for websites.
Evidence of websites ranked on the first page of Google for competitive keywords.
Experience increasing affiliate revenue through SEO and content optimization.
Familiarity with AI-powered SEO and content optimization tools is an advantage.
