Duties
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale technology projects utilizing methodologies such as SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and Waterfall to meet organizational objectives.
- Coordinate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables clearly.
- Develop detailed project plans using Microsoft Project and other project management software, tracking progress against milestones and adjusting schedules as needed.
- Oversee software development activities, including test-driven development (TDD), user acceptance testing (UAT), and release management to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively; implement mitigation strategies aligned with disaster recovery plans.
- Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams using tools like Jira, TFS (Team Foundation Server), SharePoint, and Visio to ensure transparency and collaboration.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation while maintaining organizational efficiency through time management and leadership skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex technology projects within SDLC frameworks using methodologies such as SAFe or Waterfall.
- Strong proficiency with project management tools including Microsoft Project, Jira, TFS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Visio.
- In-depth understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Oracle cloud services; experience with disaster recovery planning is a plus.
- Excellent analysis skills for requirements gathering, process improvement, and testing of software solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in program management, release coordination, and stakeholder negotiation.
- Solid knowledge of SQL databases and experience working with software development teams on test cases and user acceptance testing processes.
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences; adept at organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Kanban boards for workflow visualization; experience with TDD practices is desirable.

Pay: £41,975.99-£82,366.00 per year
