Senior Software Engineer
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build, improve, and scale modern software solutions that support important business operations and digital products. You’ll work alongside engineering, product, cloud, DevOps, architecture, and security teams to turn challenging requirements into reliable, high-quality technology.
This is a hands-on senior role with genuine technical ownership. You’ll contribute to architecture decisions, solve complex engineering problems, improve application performance, and help establish strong development practices. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor engineers and contribute to projects involving cloud platforms, APIs, automation, and modern application architectures.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and services.
- Build REST APIs, microservices, integrations, and distributed software solutions.
- Develop clean, maintainable code using Java, Python, C#, C++, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Design and optimize solutions using SQL and relational or NoSQL databases.
- Investigate and resolve complex application performance, reliability, and production issues.
- Contribute to architecture reviews, technical designs, and technology decisions.
- Develop automated unit, integration, functional, and performance testing.
- Work with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release processes.
- Develop and support cloud-based applications across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Apply secure development practices covering authentication, authorization, encryption, APIs, and vulnerability management.
- Conduct code reviews and promote high standards for quality, maintainability, and engineering consistency.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to technical knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, application development, backend development, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong programming experience in Java, Python, C#, C++, Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and system design.
- Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, distributed applications, or enterprise software.
- Strong SQL and database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or comparable technologies.
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or another enterprise cloud environment.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD technologies.
- Understanding of automated testing, Agile development, DevOps, and secure software engineering practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams, product stakeholders, and business leaders.
- Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering standards is preferred.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure certifications, Google Cloud certifications, or Kubernetes credentials.
