About the Role
Join our team at Auto Boutique London Ltd as a Web Design & Development Intern! This role offers hands-on experience across web development, user experience design, and digital marketing.
You will work across multiple brand websites—building, updating, and optimizing online platforms while supporting search engine visibility and digital campaigns. This role blends web development expertise with digital marketing and basic administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Design & Development: Design, maintain, and update company websites across multiple brands. Improve site performance, layout, mobile responsiveness, and user experience (UX).
- Technical & Code Support: Assist in front-end and back-end tasks using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Wix, etc.). Support API integrations and perform routine site audits, bug fixes, and performance troubleshooting.
- SEO & Digital Marketing: Write and update SEO-optimized content, landing pages, and blog posts. Use tools like Semrush, Google Analytics, and PageSpeed Insights to improve search rankings and site performance.
- AI & Content Integration: Utilize AI tools to optimize web content, align website design with social media strategies, upload media assets, and support marketing campaigns.
- Version Control & Maintenance: Work with version control systems (Git/GitHub) and ensure code quality and documentation standards across projects.
Requirements
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in web design and basic development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, WordPress, or similar CMS platforms).
- SEO & Analytics Knowledge: Working knowledge of SEO principles, Google Analytics, PageSpeed Insights, and Semrush (strongly preferred).
- Design & UI/UX Tools: Familiarity with design software (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD) is a plus.
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent written/verbal communication, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
- Attendance: Must be able to work in-person at our Knightsbridge office 3 days a week.
