Duties
- Design and develop secure, scalable blockchain protocols and smart contracts using languages such as Solidity or Vyper
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain solutions with existing systems via APIs and RESTful services
- Implement blockchain-based features within web applications using frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js alongside TypeScript and JavaScript
- Conduct thorough testing of blockchain applications, including unit testing and debugging to ensure robustness and security
- Optimize blockchain performance by analyzing transaction flows and implementing best practices for efficiency
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture, codebase, and development processes utilizing UML diagrams and version control systems like Git or SVN
- Stay updated on emerging blockchain trends, tools, and protocols to continuously improve our technological capabilities
Requirements
- Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on blockchain technologies and distributed ledger systems
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, PHP, or Ruby on Rails with experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Hands-on knowledge of blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, or similar ecosystems
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure for deploying blockchain solutions at scale
- Experience working with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB or similar NoSQL options for data management
- Strong understanding of web development technologies including HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, XML, XSLT, Bootstrap, and UI/UX best practices
- Knowledge of API development using RESTful services and SOAP protocols for seamless system integrations
- Experience with application development tools such as Visual Studio or Eclipse and version control systems like GitHub or TFS
- Ability to work within SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) frameworks while managing microservices architectures and WCF services where applicable
- Excellent debugging skills combined with experience in unit testing frameworks to ensure code quality and security compliance
